How payroll looks in TiBook
Open the Payroll workspace
Enable Payroll from Apps, then open it from the HR menu. TiBook launches a payroll-only shell so staff and salary stay out of billing.
Add staff to Payroll
Add name, phone, email, designation, department, Report To, and salary so attendance, leave, and payslips have someone to pay — and optionally create their login.
Punch and daily attendance
Employees punch in and out from Me → Attendance (desktop) or Home (phone). Stats, today’s shift bar, and the attendance log live on the same screen.
Mark daily attendance
Use the daily attendance grid to record who was present, absent, or on leave before you run salary for the period.
Locations, shifts, and roster
Create work locations and shifts once, then assign who works where on a roster grid — including break minutes for that day.
Leave types and requests
Define paid and unpaid leave with monthly, quarterly, or yearly accrual. Employees apply; managers and payroll admins approve.
Holiday calendars
Build a calendar per year, bulk-select days on a month grid, mark common holidays that can repeat, and pick festival art for Home and Me.
Employee login and Me
Staff sign in with the invite email, land on Home, and use Me for profile, job, documents, ID card, leave, attendance, and team.
Approve employee devices
Employee-role logins must use a whitelisted device. Admins approve or reject phones so a shared password cannot roam freely.
Wall, praise, and organisation
Post, poll, or praise on the organisation wall. Browse the directory and organisation tree the way you would a people app — not a spreadsheet.
My Finances and payslips
Employees open My Finances for salary history and PDF slips. Admins still run monthly payroll and mark payments from the payroll list.
Salary types and pay cycles
Choose monthly, weekly, or daily pay and set the base amount so TiBook knows how to calculate each payroll run.
Run monthly payroll
Generate payroll for a calendar month from attendance and salary setup, then review totals before you pay staff.
Salary slips and payments
Download or share salary slips with staff and record when salary was actually paid.
