How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1In the Payroll workspace open Locations. Add a name, address, and optional map pin.
- 2Open Shifts. Set start, end, break minutes, and weekly off days. Mark a default shift if most of the floor uses the same hours.
- 3Assign a location and shift on the employee (or leave them blank to follow company defaults).
- 4Open Roster. Pick an employee, date, location, and shift. Override break minutes when that day is different.
- 5Employees see the assignment on My Attendance β late and hours follow that shift, not a guess.
Breaks without extra punches
Break duration is stored on the shift. Roster can override it for a day. Staff do not need to punch out for lunch unless you want them to.
Notifications
When you save a roster row, the employee gets an in-app notice to check attendance for that date.
Create locations before shifts if hours differ by branch.
Plan the week on the roster grid before Monday so Home shows the right shift.
