How to
- 1Open Holidays and create a calendar for a year (and optional location).
- 2Use bulk add — pick the year, tap days on the month grid, name them, optionally mark common (repeats when you copy into next year).
- 3Choose festival art as you name the day. Packs include Holi, Eid, Bakrid, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Christmas, Gandhi Jayanti, Independence, Republic Day, Ugadi, Sankranti, Rakshabandhan, Ramadan, Shivratri, and more. Naming a holiday auto-guesses art (Holi → holi, Diwali → dussehra).
- 4Assign the calendar on the employee dossier if teams use different packs.
- 5Employees open Me → Holidays to see the year. Dark art (Eid, Christmas, Dussehra, Independence packs) uses white titles so the date stays readable.
Common vs this year
A common holiday can be copied into the next year’s calendar. The whole year is not auto-repeated — you choose what carries forward.
Attendance
Saving a holiday marks that date as holiday attendance for employees on the calendar (and location, if set).
Add national holidays as common; add a one-off mill holiday as this year only.
Click a festival chip on the calendar preview to see how Home banners use that art.
Pick dark art for festival nights — the banner switches to white text automatically.
