How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1After a payroll run, open Salary slips for that period from Payroll.
- 2Open an employeeโs slip to see earnings, deductions, and net pay for the month.
- 3Print or share the slip with the employee (PDF or on-screen โ match what your team expects).
- 4When you transfer salary or hand cash, use Mark salary payment on that slip or payroll row.
- 5Enter payment date and mode (bank, cash, UPI) so your records show paid vs pending.
- 6Filter unpaid slips at month-end to chase anyone you missed.
Slip vs bank transfer
The slip is the statement of what they earned. Mark salary payment is your ledger note that you paid โ use both so accounts and staff stay aligned.
Corrections
Wrong attendance or salary? Fix the source data and re-run payroll for that period if slips are not yet paid. After payment, adjust in the next cycle with a clear note.
Staff often ask for slips on WhatsApp โ save PDF once and reuse the same file.
Mark payments the day money moves so pending lists stay honest.
