Punch and daily attendance

Employees punch in and out from Me → Attendance (desktop) or Home (phone). Stats, today’s shift bar, and the attendance log live on the same screen.

How this looks in TiBook

How to

  1. 1Employees (desktop): open Me. TiBook opens Attendance — not a mobile tile hub. Use the Attendance / Leave tabs at the top.
  2. 2Check the three cards: Attendance Stats (your hours vs the team), Timings (this week and today’s shift bar), and Actions (live clock).
  3. 3Tap Punch in. The button becomes Punch out in red. Punch out when the shift ends. Break minutes come from the shift or that day’s roster override — no extra lunch punch unless you want one.
  4. 4Optional: turn on 24 hour format for the clock and arrival times.
  5. 5Under Logs & Requests, stay on Attendance Log (or open Calendar). Filter Last 30 Days or a month chip (Sep, Aug, …).
  6. 6Each row shows date, the attendance visual, effective hours, break taken, gross hours, arrival, and for the session log. Leave and week-off days show LEAVE / W-OFF instead of a punch bar.
  7. 7On a phone: punch from Home, or open Me → Attendance for the log. Wall is phone-only.
  8. 8Admins: still mark the daily grid at /payroll — present, absent, half-day, leave, or week-off. That status is what payroll uses if a punch is missing.

Punch vs admin mark

A punch is the employee’s clock on the Attendance screen. The daily status on the admin grid is what payroll uses. Admins can still correct a day if someone forgot to punch.

No GPS fence

TiBook Payroll does not geofence punches. Device approval (see Devices) is how you limit which phones can sign in as an employee.

Punch in from Attendance as soon as you start — the Actions card is the live clock for the session.

Finish the month (or week) before you run payroll — missing punches and unmarked days change net pay.

If someone joins mid-month, add them first under Add staff, then mark from their start date.
