Open the Payroll workspace
Enable Payroll from Apps, then open it from the HR menu. TiBook launches a payroll-only shell so staff and salary stay out of billing.
How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1Enable Payroll from Apps (/apps) if the card is not already on.
- 2From the main TiBook sidebar, open HR β Payroll. The redirect icon means this is a workspace, not a page inside billing.
- 3On a phone, open Payroll from the dashboard apps row or Settings β Apps after you leave the workspace.
- 4Admins see Locations, Shifts, Holidays, Leave types, Roster, Devices, Directory, and the daily attendance list.
- 5Use Back to TiBook (sidebar, More sheet, or avatar menu) to return to /dashboard. Employees never see that exit.
- 6Staff with only the employee role skip the billing app entirely and land on /home.
Why a separate shell
Payroll is still the same TiBook company and login. The workspace hides invoices, stock, and POS so a cashier or floor manager is not dropped into GST billing while they punch or approve leave.
Who sees what
Owners and users with payroll permissions get the admin sidebar. Users whose company role is employee (and who are not also admin or manager) get Home, Wall, Me, and My Team only.
Turn Payroll on once per company. Enabling it does not create a second subscription login.
If Payroll is missing on mobile after you left the workspace, use the dashboard Payroll card β the main sidebar is hidden on phones.
