How this looks in TiBook

How to

  1. 1Open a staff profile from Payroll (or edit while adding staff).
  2. 2Pick salary type β€” fixed salary is the usual choice for shop employees.
  3. 3Select the pay cycle: monthly, weekly, or daily depending on how you pay them.
  4. 4Enter the salary amount for that cycle (for example monthly β‚Ή18,000 or daily β‚Ή600).
  5. 5Save the profile. The roster shows cycle and amount at a glance.
  6. 6When attendance deducts days, the payroll run applies your rules to this base amount.

Monthly vs weekly vs daily

Monthly suits salaried staff paid once a month. Weekly fits teams paid every Friday. Daily works for casual labour paid per day worked. Pick one cycle per employee.

Changes mid-period

Update the amount before generating slips for a new period. Do not change historical slips β€” issue an adjustment in the next run if you underpaid.

Write amounts the way you pay β€” monthly figure for monthly staff, not a per-day guess.

Keep designation and department current for salary registers you export or share with your CA.
