How this looks in TiBook

How to

  1. 1Open Leave types. TiBook adds LWP (Leave Without Pay) as a company default you should keep.
  2. 2Add types such as Privilege Leave. Set days per year, accrual (monthly, quarterly, yearly), max consecutive days, and whether approval is required.
  3. 3Credits use whole months, not days in the month β€” for example 16 PL monthly on 17 September still credits through October (10/12 of the year).
  4. 4Employees open Me β†’ Leave, check balances, and Apply with dates and a reason.
  5. 5Approvers use Inbox or Leave requests. Approve or reject (rejection emails the employee). Report To also gets the pending notice.

Balances

Approved leave reduces the credited balance. Auto-approved types (approval off) skip the inbox and mark attendance as leave for those dates.

Comp off

If you name a type with β€œcomp”, employees can open it from Attendance as a shortcut. There is no separate comp-off engine beyond the leave type you created.

Keep LWP for unpaid absence so salary runs stay consistent.

Tell managers to watch Inbox β€” pending leave is not only an email.
