Enable the Accounting app
Turn on double-entry books — chart of accounts, journals, trial balance, and account ledgers — from Apps when you need full accounting.
How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1Open Apps from the sidebar (or Grow → Apps on some layouts).
- 2Find Accounting in the catalog.
- 3Click Enable and confirm. The Accounting section appears in your navigation.
- 4Review the default chart of accounts or import your CA’s opening list.
- 5Post opening balances if you are mid-year — coordinate with your accountant on the start date.
- 6Use General Entries for adjustments that invoices and payments do not cover.
Optional, not required
Retailers and small traders can run for years on invoices, payments, and P&L alone. Enable Accounting when you need trial balance, statutory books, or deeper journal control.
What unlocks
After enable: General Entries, Chart of Accounts, Trial Balance, and per-account ledgers at /accounting/account-ledger/:uuid. Operational data still flows from billing and payments.
Let your CA review the chart before you post a full year of journals.
You can keep billing daily and reserve journals for month-end adjustments.
