How this looks in TiBook

How to

  1. 1Open Apps and enable Restaurant POS.
  2. 2Go to Restaurant POS (/restaurant-pos) from the sidebar.
  3. 3Open Settings (modal) and configure floors, table names, and whether you run dine-in, takeaway, or both.
  4. 4On the floor screen, tap an empty table to start a dine-in order, or choose Takeaway for counter pickup.
  5. 5Add items from the menu grid. Quantities and notes stay on that table until you settle or cancel.
  6. 6Use Orders (/restaurant-pos/orders) to see open and recent tickets across the shift.

Tables and status

Occupied tables show the running total and time. Free a table only after Settle or Cancel/Void so you do not lose a half-finished order.

Menu items

Restaurant POS uses the same items catalog as retail. Mark saleable dishes as items and add images so the floor grid is easy to tap.

Name tables the way waiters say them (β€œT1”, β€œPatio 3”) to avoid confusion during rush.

Train staff to open takeaway for parcel orders β€” do not park them on a fake table unless you use that workflow.
