How this looks in TiBook

How to

  1. 1Open Restaurant POS β†’ Settings (modifiers section) or the Modifiers screen from the restaurant menu.
  2. 2Create modifier groups β€” for example Size, Add-ons, or Cooking.
  3. 3Add options inside each group with optional extra price (zero if free).
  4. 4Link modifier groups to menu items that need choices.
  5. 5On the floor, tap an item that has modifiers. Pick options in the popup, then confirm to add the line.
  6. 6Send KOT β€” modifiers print on the ticket so the kitchen sees the full instruction.

Pricing

Paid modifiers increase the line total before tax. Free modifiers still print on KOT for the kitchen.

Retail POS

Modifiers are a Restaurant POS feature. Retail POS bills simple item lines without modifier groups.

Keep group names short β€” they must read clearly on a narrow KOT.

Review modifier prices when your menu card changes; old orders keep what they had at settle time.
