How to
- 1Set up thermal print first under Settings → Print — choose 2 inch or 3 inch, pick a template (Compact, Advanced, Simple, or Classic), and add your logo if needed.
- 2Enable the columns you want on the slip (HSN, batch, serial) from the same print settings.
- 3Complete a POS bill and click Save.
- 4Click Print (or the thermal print action on the success screen) to send the receipt to your configured printer.
- 5If nothing prints, confirm the printer is the system default or selected in the browser print dialog, and that paper width matches your template.
Receipt vs PDF invoice
Thermal output is a narrow counter receipt. The full tax invoice PDF still lives on the saved sales invoice — share or email it from Invoices when the customer needs a formal copy.
Templates
Compact fits small rolls. Advanced shows more line detail. Try each template once on real paper before going live.
Logo on thermal works best as a simple black image — avoid fine gradients.
Restaurant KOT uses the same print stack; configure once in Print settings.
