How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1Open the party in Add party or Party details β Edit.
- 2Fill Billing address β city, state, PIN, and country as needed for GST place of supply.
- 3If goods ship elsewhere, enter Shipping address line by line.
- 4Turn on Same as billing when both addresses match β TiBook copies billing into shipping automatically.
- 5Save. New sales invoices and challans can pull billing or shipping blocks from these fields.
- 6Update addresses when the party moves; old PDFs keep what was saved on that invoice.
GST and place of supply
Billing state often decides CGST+SGST vs IGST on B2B sales. Keep state and PIN accurate for interstate checks.
Depots and branches: one party with one GSTIN can still use a different shipping address per order on the invoice.
GSTIN lookup may fill billing β always confirm shipping for warehouse deliveries.
