How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1Open Settings → Security (or Account → Security).
- 2Choose Enable two-factor authentication and follow the setup — usually an authenticator app QR code.
- 3Scan the QR with Google Authenticator, Authy, or another TOTP app.
- 4Enter the six-digit code to confirm MFA is working.
- 5Download or copy recovery codes and store them offline — one-time use if you lose the phone.
- 6Log out and log in once to verify the second step appears.
Who should enable MFA
Owners, admins, and anyone who can move money or delete data should enable MFA first. Enforce team MFA by policy even if TiBook does not force it company-wide.
Lost device
Use a recovery code to sign in, then reset MFA immediately. Without codes, contact TiBook support with account proof.
Print recovery codes once — do not store only in email on the same phone.
Each user sets MFA on their own login — admins cannot see their TOTP secret.
