How this looks in TiBook
How to
- 1Open Parties from the sidebar. The list shows every customer and supplier in one place.
- 2A party is anyone you sell to, buy from, or both — not separate “customer” and “vendor” databases.
- 3Each party has a name, contact details, GSTIN, addresses, opening balance, and their own transaction history.
- 4Hover the info tooltip on the Parties screen if you see it: a party is anyone you do business with.
- 5Create invoices, payments, and reports by picking the party — TiBook keeps their ledger in one thread.
Customer and supplier flags
When you add a party, mark them as customer, supplier, or both. One wholesaler who buys from you and sells to you stays a single card with two roles.
Why unify contacts
Duplicate names cause wrong outstanding balances and messy GST reports. One party, one ledger, one PDF statement — whether they paid you or you paid them.
Search parties by name, mobile, or GSTIN from the list — faster than scrolling.
Finish Complete the Quick Start checklist by adding at least one party before your first invoice.
